Salami, tomato and valerian maize sandwiches

Ingredients

  • 1 package of Polenta Valsugana Ready-to-Serve
  • 80 g of sliced salami
  • 2 sliced tomatoes
  • 50 g of sliced cheese (edam or emmental)
  • 20 g of valerian
  • salt

Preparation

Cut the polenta into thick slices (each package will give about 5 slices).

Lay the polenta slices out on a table. Place the salmon slices on top.

Add the valerian to the mix.

Cover with a slice of polenta, then cheese and a slice of tomato. Add salt and finally cover a third slice of polenta.

Continue alternating layers until all ingredients are used.

Place in a sandwich toaster and cook until golden and crisp.

Finally cut the sandwiches into triangles.

Secure with toothpicks and serve.
